Product Care
Your table is crafted from natural stone, celebrated for its distinctive veining, colour variation and character. No two pieces are identical. With thoughtful care, your travertine or marble table will retain its beauty for many years.
Everyday Care
- Dust regularly with a soft microfibre cloth.
- Clean with a soft cloth dampened with water or a pH-neutral stone cleaner.
- Dry the surface immediately after cleaning to prevent water marks.
Protecting the Surface
- Always use coasters under beverages and placemats beneath tableware, serving dishes and decorative objects.
- Use trivets or heat-resistant mats under hot cookware and serving dishes.
- Wipe up spills promptly, particularly those from wine, coffee, tea, citrus, vinegar and other acidic liquids, as they may stain or etch the stone if left unattended.
Avoid
- Acidic, alkaline or abrasive cleaning products, including vinegar, bleach, ammonia and citrus-based cleaners.
- Scouring pads, steel wool or abrasive sponges.
- Standing water or prolonged exposure to moisture.
- Dragging heavy or sharp objects across the surface, as this may scratch the stone.
Placement
- Suitable for indoor use only.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, excessive heat or areas with significant fluctuations in temperature and humidity.
- Ensure the table stands on a level surface to provide even support.
Natural Characteristics
Travertine and marble are natural materials, and each slab will display unique veining, tonal variation, mineral markings and naturally occurring pores or small fissures. These characteristics are inherent to the stone and are not considered defects.
