There was one thing we kept noticing about contemporary sofas.
The most beautiful ones were often the least comfortable to lean back into.
Low profiles create beautiful proportions. They make a room feel open and give a sofa that clean, architectural look we love. But once you actually sit down, many of them stop supporting you exactly where you need them most.
Your upper back.
Your shoulders.
The way you naturally want to lean back at the end of the day.
WING began with a simple question:
Could we keep the modern silhouette, but make the backrest genuinely comfortable?
We didn't want to solve comfort by simply making a conventional high-back sofa.
That would have been easy.
The challenge was creating more support without making the sofa feel visually heavy.
So instead of treating the backrest as a separate, upright element, WING wraps it into the overall form of the sofa.
The back rises gently, the edges soften into rounded curves, and the armrests flow naturally into the silhouette.
From across the room, it still feels low, modern and composed.
Sit down, and you notice the difference.
The higher cushioned back gives your upper body somewhere to rest, while the generous seat allows you to settle naturally into the sofa rather than sitting rigidly on top of it.
It is the balance we were looking for:
Modern enough for the home we want.
Comfortable enough for the way we actually live.
The name comes from one of the defining elements of the collection: the Wing Module.
Rather than forcing every sofa into a straight line or a conventional 90-degree corner, the angled module allows the composition to gently change direction.
It can create a subtle curve around a coffee table, open the sofa towards another part of the room, or help a large sectional feel less rigid.
This becomes especially useful in open-plan homes, where furniture often needs to define a space without closing it off.
The sofa begins to follow the room, instead of asking the room to follow the sofa.
WING is designed as a complete modular system.
A smaller home might need a simple linear composition.
A larger living room might call for a chaise.
An open-plan space could use the Wing Module to create a gentle conversation area.
And for larger homes, multiple modules can form an expansive curved or wraparound sofa.
The idea isn't to give everyone the same sofa.
It's to give you the pieces to create the sofa your room actually needs.
WING can be configured from approximately 2.7m compositions to expansive 4m+ arrangements, with further combinations possible through its modular system.
More importantly, module dimensions can be tailored to suit individual project requirements.

But that's only a few seconds of its life.
Most of its life happens when someone is reading on it, lying down after work, having friends over, watching a film, or simply doing nothing.
That is why WING wasn't designed around appearance alone.
We wanted to make the kind of sofa you notice when you enter the room, but appreciate even more after you've sat in it for an hour.

For regular maintenance, gently vacuum using a soft upholstery attachment.
For spills, blot promptly with a clean, dry cloth rather than rubbing. Specific care requirements depend on the selected upholstery.
